Camp Haverim, a non-denominational and inclusive camp, offers a rich and rewarding summer day camp experience for campers age 5 to 12, in grades K-6. Campers are grouped by age for most activities, but share other experiences as a group. Our program is designed to offer campers increasingly challenging age-appropriate activities as they grow older and mature.
“Habonim” is Hebrew for “builders.” Our Habonim Program is run separately to include experiences geared for our 7th and 8th grade campers. They will build their leadership skills through leadership training that prepares them to return in subsequent years as CITs, and they will enjoy team-building through exciting activities like surfing, scuba diving, and tennis.
High school students in grades 9 and 10 will be able to participate as counselor in training program (CIT) and high school students in grades 11 and 12 will be able to participate as junior counselors.
